Old Bend Parking Benefits District
The Old Bend Neighborhood Parking Benefit District (OBNPBD) is a parking pilot program designed to extend priority parking access to residents and help alleviate commuter parking in areas of the Old Bend Neighborhood.
Parking strategies implemented with OBNPBD aim to mitigate on-street parking by non-residents within a defined geographic area within the Old Bend Neighborhood in the City of Bend.
Under this program, residents within the Parking Benefit District can apply for parking permits to park along roadways in their area and non-residents can park in a variety of areas within the Parking Benefit District as specified and permitted.
Generally with Parking Benefit Districts, a Neighborhood Parking District Board or Committee can utilize a percentage of parking revenues generated within the district to make neighborhood improvements that improve quality of life and neighborhood safety.
